The Black Sheik abducts young women and others and sells them as slaves. He has people who watch for opportunities to find such women for him. One of these people is Salena, an Arab woman who is also in love with him.
A young woman, Caroline, and her younger sister are traveling through the country with a tour group, when they catch the attention of Salena. She arranges with a drunk, Gazull, to kidnap them. Lt. Clousteau meets them and tries to help-but he is so klutzy that they are disgusted with him and don’t trust him. They don’t know it, but in reality he is the “Moonlight Bandit” who helps unfortunate people who get caught by the sinister Sheik.
The girls instead put their trust in Gazull, who offers to help them catch up to their caravan and even helps them get a room for the night. He and Selena then capture them and take them to the Black Sheik who puts them in his harem temporarily.
“The Moonlight Bandit” tries to save them with the help of a Genie named Augh.
